Opening scheduled for spring 2014

Kintetsu Hotel Systems, Inc. the management company of Miyako Hotels & Resorts announced on July 6th, 2011 that an agreement has been reached with Marriott International to flag the new hotel at the Abenobashi Terminal Tower Building Annex in Osaka now under construction by Kintetsu Corporation as "Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel".
The 60 floor building scheduled to be completed in spring 2014 will rise up to 300 meters making it the tallest in the country. The hotel features 376 guest rooms occupying 38th to 55th floors. The central location of the building above an extensive transport hub offers easy access to all corners of the city, suburbs and provinces and to Kansai International Airport in 30 minutes. The multi faceted complex housing a department store, offices, galleries, museums and an observatory will serve as a new cultural and tourism centre for Abeno area, the southern gateway point of the city.
