Global partnership brings innovative solar roof panels, electric vehicle charging stations and more to market
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. & ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sunlogics, a global leader in the design, development and operation of solar energy solutions, and Energizer®, a global leader in power and light, have launched an initiative to help accelerate adoption of renewable energy through solar power installations. The initiative includes electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, commercial rooftop and ground mount panels and a Home Solar Program designed and built by Sunlogics and carrying the Energizer brand.

The EV solar charging stations are designed to meet the charging needs of the growing EV market. The 10 Kilowatt and 20 Kilowatt solar charging stations will be installed in prominent high traffic areas in North America, and will "refuel" up to four or up to eight electric vehicles at a time, respectively. An eight space, 20 kilowatt station will produce up to 36,000 kW hours per year and has the capacity to generate electricity sufficient to charge approximately 2500 EV's a year. These powerful stations are also highly efficient: unused power generated is fed back to the grid, insuring that all of the energy created is utilized. Sunlogics has been installing similar Chevrolet branded EV solar charging stations at dealerships across the United States.
Sunlogics and General Motors have partnered to construct solar installations at GM facilities. Sunlogics will be using its Energizer branded solar panels in solar project development throughout North America, Asia and Europe for large commercial and industrial installations.
The third area being pursued addresses the growing demand for solar solutions in the residential market. Sunlogics will soon offer an Energizer-branded Home Solar Program for residential markets that will help homeowners reduce their electricity and petroleum costs by using solar energy and electric vehicle charging products. The program also includes non-grid connected solar power for recreational vehicles, marine and remote dwellings. These will be distributed throughout the global Energizer network, as well as through networks that Sunlogics is developing with its other national and multi-national partners.
