Company Adds InfoTools, Highlighting, Notes, and Other Features to QuickView, Offers New Bookshelf Functionality

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--This week, ebrary®, a leading provider of digital content products and technologies, is shipping a number of powerful new features that make it quicker and easier to discover, use, and manage information online.

ebrary today announced it has considerably improved its QuickView Reader, which does not require any software downloads or installations. New QuickView features include InfoTools, which networks every word with other online resources; copying; highlighting; annotating; and the ability to turn text into hyperlinks. Last month ebrary added printing to QuickView as well as integration with RefWorks and EndNote for easy citation management.

Additionally, ebrary has enhanced its bookshelf feature. End-users can now email folders containing notes, highlights, hyperlinks, and bookmarks to peers.

“While ebrary offers a variety of flexible content products from world-renowned publishers, we are first and foremost a technology company that prides ourselves in our ability to do great things with digital information,” said Christopher Warnock, CEO of ebrary. “With our underlying ISIS technology, we are now able to rapidly build new features and functionality that improve the way in which people find, use, and manage digital content. We look forward to announcing even greater progress on the technology front through year-end.”
