NEW YORK & HONG KONG--()--Bloomberg Brief today announced the launch of Economics Asia and the addition of Tamara Mast Henderson, a former International Monetary Fund economist, to the group's staff.
The daily Economics Asia newsletter compiles news, data and in-depth analysis of macroeconomic trends from the Bloomberg Professional service, as well as commentary by Bloomberg Brief economists Michael McDonough and Tamara Henderson. McDonough and Henderson study global economic trends from Hong Kong and Singapore, respectively, while four dedicated economists located in Europe and the Americas add global perspective to each issue.

Henderson has 25 years experience as an economist and has worked for the International Monetary Fund’s Investment Unit and Citigroup. She is also the author of Fixed Income Strategy: A Practitioner’s Guide to Riding the Curve (Wiley & Sons Ltd, 2003), which combines theoretical models and practical experience to offer a framework for fixed-income investing and trading. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Henderson served as the head of foreign exchange research for Asia at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd.
