TOKYO--()--The FPD industry is being fueled by the expansion of the smartphone market. The world's largest exhibition for the industry, 22nd FINETECH JAPAN, will take place from April 11th at Tokyo Big Sight. Also at its concurrent shows, 3rd FilmTech JAPAN and 1st PLASTIC JAPAN, advanced materials essential for FPD manufacturing will be exhibited.
Inside FINETECH JAPAN, not only the general zone where leading players of manufacturing equipment and materials all exhibit, [Display 2012] gathering the latest panels, [TOUCH PANEL JAPAN] specialised in the growing market, [3rd Nanoimprint Technology Fair] and [2nd Printed Electronics Fair] featuring the latest technologies are co-held. Launching these new sections matching the current market, FINETECH JAPAN has been continuing its innovation for 22 years.
What will be in the spotlight at the 2012 show? Products/technologies related to OLED displays and touch panels, whose demands are growing due to market expansion of smartphones, are definitely the one. From OLED materials, laminating equipment to finished products, major companies of each field will exhibit under one roof. Furthermore, the latest products like "World's first 169 inch LED-based Glasses-free 3D Display" will gather huge attention.
FINETECH JAPAN's recent breakthrough is also due to its concurrent shows, [FilmTech Japan] launched in 2010 (World's largest exhibition specialised in highly-functional film) and [PLASTIC JAPAN] launched in 2012 (specialised in highly-functional plastic, in which Japan has huge advantage).
