WAKEFIELD, Mass.--(The PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC), a global, open industry standards body providing management of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), PIN Transaction Security (PTS) requirements and the Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS), today announced that it will host its inaugural Asia Pacific event in Singapore on Thursday, June 14 at the Hilton Singapore.
)--Attendance at the one-day event is complimentary and open to all PCI stakeholders – from Participating Organizations and assessors to card brands and those interested in payment security. The Council will share the latest information on PCI Standards, PCI programs and resources, including its work in technology areas such as Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) and mobile payment acceptance security. The agenda also includes both networking and question and answer sessions to allow participants to interact and share best practices with Council staff and each other.
In conjunction with the event, two training offerings are available, allowing attendees to make the most of their travel time and budgets:
- Internal Security Assessor Training – Tuesday June 12 & Wednesday June 13
- PCI Awareness Training – Friday June 15
