With this, Kittelhake takes over the responsibility for a further important milestone in the successful implementation of the Energy Turnaround with Offshore Wind Parks of Windreich AG.Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. (FH) Willi Balz states: 'Tim Kittelhake will also take our second 400 MW North Sea Wind park MEG 1 to a successful realization, against a presently negative sentiments. After having held several positions in the electric/electronics field, Tim Kittelhake (48) started his career in the area of wind energy with Natenco GmbH, a company founded by Willi Balz in 2007. In 2008 Tim Kittelhake erected Onshore-Wind Parks with a project volume of 250 million Euros and changed over to Windreich AG to the offshore business in 2009. In 2010 he took over the chairmanship of Windkraft Union AG, a 100% subsidiary company of Windreich AG which is responsible for ready to go Offshore Wind Parks. Our park will be right next to Alpha Ventus and will have highly precise wind data which mean more than all theoretical expert papers. In the year 2011, relatively poor as far as winds were concerned, Alpha Ventus was able to impress with performance factors of 15% above those forecasted. In addition we only utilize 5 MW windpower equipment of the worldwide market leader AREVA. Next to the high technical standards, the project offers a high degree of economic safeguard. MEG 1 has full service contracts with AREVA S.A. which will take all technical risks off the shoulders of future investors for 14 years. In the case of Windpark Borkum a net-feed -in is not only ensured but is also already existing before the first equipment is even built.
