The announcement was accompanied by a live demo of the device providing Full HD display content to a 2nd monitor with a seamless and high quality user experience at Computex 2012 Taipei. FL2000 is the world’s first USB Audio/Video class device controller, conforming to the USB-IF’s recently released A/V Device class Specification.“Fresco Logic is very excited about the new USB A/V class because we think USB is uniquely positioned to simultaneously deliver sophisticated audio/video capabilities – and more -- with a single connection,” said Robert McVay, CTO of Fresco Logic. “We are pleased to give substance to our commitment to this emerging standard by announcing our first A/V chip today, just 6 months after the specification was adopted.”
