CHARLOTTE, N.C.--()--Camstar Systems, Inc. announced today that its overall 2012 Q1 revenue increased 29% over the same quarter last year. The strong growth is attributed to the company’s unique Enterprise Manufacturing functionality for operations across multiple sites, including contract manufacturers and strategic suppliers.
Software license revenue, which is the key indicator for profitability and growth, grew more than 36% over the same quarter last year. New customer acquisition comprised the majority of the sales, with strong growth in the Consumer Electronics and Semiconductor markets.
Camstar’s continued investment in building operations and infrastructure in China and APAC is paying off with the company earning 49% of its software revenue from the region. Camstar is uniquely positioned to assist large companies in China making significant enterprise investments to advance their manufacturing capability.
