Online Stickies lino is a service that provides users with stickies that can be posted on online canvases to be viewed, moved and peeled off with total freedom. lino ′09 comes with a new interface and features that reflect usage trends and user feedback, and make the service even easier and more convenient not only for personal use, but also for use at schools or workplaces.
The new version’s interface has been completely revamped to make navigation simpler and easier to grasp. Convenient new features include “File stickies” that enable the easy sharing of Word, Excel and other files, “Search stickies” for visual search of stickies, and “Embed lino” for embedding lino in blogs.
In addition to a current free service, a pay service at $3 has also been launched. Paying users can post large files with “File stickies”, search old stickies, save original image files with “Photo Storage”, and protect all lino communications with SSL encryption.
New interface
The new interface makes navigation simpler and easier to grasp by organizing dashboard, canvas creation and settings on My Page. Canvas update status and tasks of both personal canvases and the canvases of groups to which a user belongs all show up on My Page. lino ′09 also offers ten times as many canvas wallpaper templates. Using different wallpapers for different canvases enables canvases to be found at a glance.
File Stickies
Attach files to lino stickies and you can view the same file both at home and office. You can share the files with your family, friends, and colleagues.
Free membership allows up to 10MB of file attachment to a single sticky. The maximum total file size that can be saved in a month is 100MB, and you can download a maximum of 10 attachment files from other users’ stickies in a month.
Photo Storage
When you post an image to lino, its size will be optimized. When you become a lino Premium user, the image of the original size will be saved so that everyone can view it in the original size.
Search stickies
The content of stickies posted on personal and group canvases can be searched using keywords. Search results provide visual leads to the location of stickies on a canvas.
Embed lino
lino canvases can be embedded in blogs by copying and pasting the provided HTML. Embedded canvases can be set to allow anyone to view them or to allow anyone to post stickies.
