MUNICH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Windworks Engineering Inc. is proud to announce that the first prototype of its revolutionary Vertical Axis Windturbine has been erected at the company's testing facility north east of Perth, Western Australia.

Under the direction of the board's technical advisor, Azad Hessamodini, a team of industry professionals have initiated a comprehensive monitoring and testing programme.

This will involve evaluating aerodynamic performance as well as stability, sound and vibration levels under various wind regimes.

This will be followed by the trialling of a selection of Permanent Magnet Generators.

A comprehensive data collection program will then commence to fulfil the global industry certification requirement.

Early observation of the aerodynamc performance is very encouraging.

Video and graphics will be published shortly, after additional patent applications have been filed next week.

The management is confident that production and deliveries of the initial model will start later this year.
