CAMARILLO, Calif.--()--Vitesse Semiconductor Corporation (Nasdaq: VTSS), a leading provider of advanced IC solutions for Carrier and Enterprise networks, announced that its VeriTime™ chipset was named a finalist for the 2013 China Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards in the Product of the Year, Mixed Signal Controller/Processor/SoC category. The chipset consists of SynchroPHY™ 1 Gigabit Ethernet (GE), 10GE and 10GE OTN PHYs and Carrier Ethernet Switch Engines with Vitesse’s IEEE1588v2 LTE-Advanced-ready VeriTime technology.
The China ACE Awards, organized by Global Sources, honor the technologies, companies, and people that shape innovative electronics design in mainland China. Award winners are selected by online vote from design engineers and qualified by the ACE Award Committee, consisting of media editors and industry experts. In 2012, the China ACE Awards received over 300 entries from international and domestic semiconductor and test companies doing business in mainland China.
The winners will be unveiled during the International IC China Conference & Exhibition 2013 at an evening event taking place on March 1, 2013 in Shenzhen, China.
