SHANGHAI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--According to the Global Wind Energy Council, the wind industry has been expanding at an annual growth rate of 28% over the past ten years. At the end of 2008, wind power in China accounted for 12.2 (GW) of electricity generating capacity and China has identified wind power as a key growth component of the country's economy.
Under such circumstance, “Wind Power Leadership China Summit 2009” will be organized by CBI Events, supported by Weihai Torch Hi-tech Science Park and Korea Wind Energy Association.
This summit will discuss the tendency of worldwide energy development and business opportunity in China. Additionally, China’s most influential wind power industry giants like Huadian group, Huaneng group, China Guodian Corporation and some worldwide large wind turbine manufacturers like Vestas, Gamesa, GE wind, have all been invited to come. Vestas will bring their wind turbine model V90 to the event hall.
