OSAKA, Japan -- (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Osaka Business and Investment Center (O-BIC) will exhibit for five days from Oct. 1st to 5th 2013 at “CEATEC JAPAN 2013,” showcasing information regarding the cost of expansion into Osaka as well as the benefits to foreign corporations set-up in the Osaka region, such as the country's first ‘zero local tax’ system - "Kansai Innovation International Strategic Comprehensive Special Zone."
Several well-known companies have located their headquarters in Osaka, including Panasonic and ITOCHU - which has just been inducted to the Fortune Global 500 in 2012. Beyond the manufacturing sector, not only do several major domestic and international pharmaceutical companies call Osaka home, but there are numerous environmental and new-energy related businesses in the bay area focusing on battery technologies. Osaka has initiated a ‘special taxation zone’ targeting these new-energy and life-science related industries. Establishing operations within these prefectural special zones provides businesses with access to a maximum tax benefit of up to zero local taxes.
In Hall 3, O-BIC booth is located inside the key technology stage’s battery, raw material and equipment section, in the NIPPON Innovation Plaza. O-BIC offers a great deal of valuable information and incentives. For everything from business registration and residential eligibility, to assistance in searching for local office space - please do not hesitate to consult us regarding setting up your business.
All visitors are required to register for the event. Please contact us if you require invitation tickets.
