ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Marking a new scientific milestone for work systems implemented to enhance an initiative spirit among its employees, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has received the platinum certificate from Ideas UK. MoI is the first governmental ministry to receive the platinum certificate from the first assessment carried out by a team from the association.
The platinum category is the highest level within the Ideas UK classification.
The ministry received this credit after an auditing process performed by auditors from the association on the Institutional Suggestions System implemented by the Ministry of Interior via the Strategy and Performance Development Directorate General. The ministry utilizes the system to encourage employees to contribute with their recommendations and ideas, in order to improve performance, develop the working environment, and increase client satisfaction.
Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General, the General Secretariat of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, said: “This success is a result of the instructions of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. The platinum category is awarded if the suggestion system efficiency achieves 90% or more, according to the Ideas UK standards; the standards include 86 standards covering all legal and financial aspects, the system procedures and regulations, the system feasibility and connection to the institution’s organizational chart.
