SHANGHAI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On the occasion of the Interior Lifestyle China – International Trade Fair for Household Products and Accessories, Mr. Kazuya Shimokawa, Chief Editor of Nikkei Design (Japan's leading design specialized magazine), will deliver a lecture on the theme of The Way to Make Difference at the Japan Pavilion at 13:30 on November 11 (Wednesday). Interview-style presentations will also be held involving eight top Japanese designers who will exhibit their products.

The Japan Pavilion will showcase Japanese daily-living products with outstanding quality, design, and functionality – those with a record of acclaim at European trade fairs.

Mr. Shimokawa maintains that Japanese design features simplicity and beauty, but the greatest fascination is that it cherishes the mind and body of users and enriches their minds.

The Secretariat of Connect Japan has been entrusted with the project for participation in the Japan Pavilion at the Interior Lifestyle China event by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan. After this exhibition, the Secretariat will take charge of a similar project at Ambiente, scheduled to take place in Frankfurt, Germany in February 2010.
