SINGAPORE -- (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Qvest Media Singapore, specialist for media consultancy, system integration and broadcast IT support, today announced the appointment of Eric Augereau as General Manager. With the commitment of the proven industry expert alongside the move to new company headquarters, Qvest Media Singapore, a member of the German Wellen+Noethen Group, lays the cornerstone for sustained growth in the Southeast Asian region. For the first time in Asia at this year's Broadcast Asia exhibition Qvest Media is going to present its professional services as well as selected highlights from German partners arvato Systems and make.tv.
In his position as General Manager, Eric Augereau will boost the business development of Qvest Media Singapore in Southeast Asia. His core duties are therefore the distribution and expansion of services provided in consultancy, systems integration and technology service & support. Furthermore, in the near future Augereau plans to intensify the focus on the rental solutions unit serving major events in fields like sports and entertainment in the region. “I am convinced that the Southeast Asian region is an ideal future and growth market in which our company's service portfolio, which is based on high-end technologies, can be positioned profitably. The highly innovative region offers ideal conditions for the further development of the corporate group and I am looking forward to meeting the company's goals with a motivated team of colleagues”, says Eric Augereau, General Manager at Qvest Media Singapore.
In addition to expanding the management team, Qvest Media is also increasing its business at the Singapore location. With the move into new company headquarters, the company creates additional space for further development over the coming years.
At Broadcast Asia exhibition, 17th to 20th June 2014, Qvest Media is going to present its 360 degree professional services to broadcast, media and telecommunications companies at stand 5K3-01. Furthermore, together with the German partners make.tv and arvato Systems, Qvest Media will introduce high-end technologies for cloud-based studio production and media asset management to the Asian market. Visitors will experience arvato Systems’ media asset management VPMS and Avamio as well as the powerful studio production tool ClipJOCKEY. Beyond that, arvato Systems will highlight Avatega, the out-of-the-box software solution for all broadcast management needs. The innovative platform make.tv combines the features of a TV production van with the highest level of flexibility for teams working together from various locations. This makes it possible for crew members, such as ingest and outgest operators, cutters and motion designers, to work together from decentralized locations all over the world on collaborative remote productions on make.tv. The same level of flexibility goes for the broadcasting of content: Aside from pre-produced content, any number of different live sources such as cameras, smartphones and webcams can be integrated into the live program. Direct interaction with the audience, in the form of votings, chats and castings, becomes reality in the live show. In the sense of “viewers make their own TV”, users can produce contributions to shows and topics and also take part in competitions.
