NEW YORK--()--Today, the International Cultural & Art Property Enterprise (ICAPE) announced the opening of “Chinese Dream, World Peace,” the First Sino-U.S. Culture and Art Exchange Exhibition, taking place in New York City. Famous Chinese contemporary artists such as Yugen Wang, Wenbin Zheng, and Jindong Guo, will be displaying paintings and calligraphies, with some being exhibited outside of China for the very first time. Other artists that will be in attendance include Hua Zhou and Yanzhai Zhao.

The event is part of the launch of ICAPE’s fractional art trading concept and electronic trading system, which was developed by Fundamental Interactions, the same company that designed and operated the BitCoin trading system. The platform allows owners to liquidate and sell either all or partial shares of art to the public. Investors or collectors can then purchase and trade these fractional art units through ICAPE. This new business line and platform is a new concept in buying and selling art with potential to disrupt the traditional art community.

“We’re eager to introduce ICAPE’s trading concept among revered artists and collectors at the first Sino-U.S. cultural exchange,” said John Wallace, Chairman of ICAPE. “Our model was built with the goal of completely changing the business by giving smaller investors the opportunity to participate in a marketplace and allowing individuals and institutions the ability to raise capital without transferring ownership.”

The Chinese Ambassador Gift Products Editorial Committee, an organization that promotes China’s traditional culture and works on establishing a global cultural and art exchange network, is also sponsoring the exhibition which will take place at the Westin New York, Times Square (270 W. 43rd St.), from July 10–14, 2014. Devices will be available throughout the exhibition for attendees to demo ICAPE’s electronic art trading system. They will also get a chance to view and purchase Chinese contemporary art, as well as meet and observe artists as they create artwork live.
