The EastFunding inception comes from the direct experience of the founders trying, to raise funds for Eastern based early stage Tech companies " Providing exit solutions to investors and raising the level of transparency in the ecosystem are some of the problems to solve if we want to increase the level of investment from Angels and early stage funds and with EastFunding we are also focusing on these key factors" said Frederick Saurat one of the three founders.
Founded in May 2014 by Tech entrepreneurs, EastFunding is an online platform that connects Tech entrepreneurs to investors interested to invest in the region, enables startups to apply to incubators & accelerators and find talents to hire. The platform also provides opportunities to develop relations with corporates for business and/or acquisition.
EastFunding aims to develop transparent relationships by providing free access to both standard fundraising document templates and a network of lawyers across the region with packaged solutions specialy for startups.
The platform integrates a social component as well allowing users to follow other profiles and startup activities while requesting introductions. "We have developed a system which, enables investors to receive introduction requests from entrepreneurs endorsed by at least one of their connections" says Laurent Lombardo co- founder of EastFunding.
The Company will release a mobile version for Entrepreneurs to follow fundraising operations, talent to receive updates on job propositions and investors to follow and interact with their startup portfolio
