The SD755 inertial sensor from SensorDynamics, manufacturer and supplier of micro and wireless sensor semiconductor products, is the first MEMS (micro-electromechanical system) product combining a gyroscope and accelerometer on a single chip. The patented encapsulation technology used for SD755 is a major breakthrough which allows a high level of integration within inertial sensors.
