SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Structural Integrity Associates, Inc., a leading engineering consulting company to the Energy and Power Industry, was presented the Corporate Appreciation Award by J. Robert Sims, Jr., the President of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), at the annual ASME PVP Conference on July 23, 2014. The ASME selected Structural Integrity due to their significant leadership in the ASME and industry since their founding in 1983.
Structural Integrity supported approximately 40 ASME Codes and Standards Committees, and been an active supporter of the Pressure Vessels and Piping Division (PVP) by authoring or co-authoring over 55 papers in the past five years in addition to three tutorials, developed sessions related to high pressure technology, materials and fabrication, design analysis, and fatigue, and participated in Software and NDE Forums. Their industry expertise is recognized by the organization and industry through the leadership as Technical Committee Chairs, Conference Chairs, and in 2011, Laney Bisbee, the company CEO, was a plenary speaker.
