PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CMMI® Institute today announced that it is kicking off its global conference series, with events taking place in China, Europe, and North America throughout 2014 and 2015. Another event will be added to the schedule for Latin America in 2015.
The CMMI Institute Global Conference Series is designed for the thousands of professionals around the world who are committed to improving their organization’s capabilities. The conferences focus on the tools and shared learnings that the proven application of CMMI has demonstrated over 25 years in elevating performance within their organizations.
CMMI Institute’s Global Conference Series will include engaging keynotes, informative case study presentations and interactive panel sessions. Attending the event will help organizations on their journey to performance elevation by showcasing best practices. The conference experience will be enriched with opportunities for attendees to meet, network and collaborate with CMMI experts, partners and thought leaders in the industry. In addition to the conferences, CMMI Institute will also offer face-to-face training in CMMI and Data Management Maturity (DMM)SM for those who want to go deeper into the topics.
Thousands of companies across multiple industry sectors in 94 countries have adopted Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)®, the gold standard of excellence in capability assessment and improvement. Adoption of CMMI is growing around the world. One example is that 40% of CMMI appraisals took place in China last year. CMMI models have been translated into 10 languages and 12 national governments have invested in CMMI to support economic development in their countries. This shows that more and more organizations are seeing the benefits of conducting a capability maturity assessment as a critical step to building sustainable success.
“For over 20 years CMMI Institute has been building a global network to help businesses of every size and in every industry to boost competitiveness and improve capability,” said Kirk Botula, CEO of CMMI Institute. “We are excited to serve our community worldwide with events that reflect the nature of today’s global work environment and share new approaches with our partners and colleagues around the globe.”
