SEOUL, South Korea--(BUSINESS WIRE)--2015 Seoul Motor Show, the largest automobiles exhibition in South Korea, is scheduled to be held from April 3-12 at KINTEX, Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province. This year's theme is ‘Experience the Technology, Feel the Artistry.’
32 automakers will participate in the Seoul Motor Show. Among them are 9 Korean car brands such as Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors, and 23 global car brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz. 4 companies, including Sunlongbus, will participate for the first time. 131 auto component makers, 17 auto tuning companies, and 4 two-wheeled vehicle companies, will participate.
The show will exhibit 33 new models including 12 concept cars, 6 world premier, 9 Asia premier, 18 Korea premier, along with over 350 vehicles.
‘Tuning and Car Life & Culture Center’, located at Hall 7 of the exhibition center 2, offers diverse attractions for family visitors featuring trial riding zone of tuning and eco-friendly cars, safe driving experience zone, automotive industry history archive zone, automobile fashion fusion center where one can see the integration of automobiles and fibers, and the brilliant memory exhibition, which is an artistic space created to share automobile life.
To expand international business opportunities of the participating enterprises, the components purchasing delegations of the developing countries, including China, Mexico, Columbia, have been invited. Also, journalists from Asia and Central and South America have been invited to help overseas PR.
During the motor show, the ‘Car Is Art’ international conference will be held in which former Ferrari designer, Carlo Palazzani and Dale Harrow, Dean of Automobile Design at the Royal College of Art will participate. In addition, ‘Meeting the Automobile and IT Technologies’ seminar which predicts the future and trend of automobile IT, including autonomous cruise, the human sensibility technology, will be held.
Seoul Motor Show is the only international motor show in Korea that has been officially recognized by OICA (Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d’Automobiles). As the largest general industrial exhibition, it greets the 10th since the holding of the 1st Seoul Motor Show in 1995.
