CHIBA, Japan--()--Seiko Instruments Inc. (SII) announced the release of the S-19611A zero-drift dual op-amp with AEC-Q100 qualification for automotive use, which is optimized for amplification of very small sensor signals.
The S-19611A features very low input offset voltage of 17µV (microvolts) at ambient temperature and offset temperature drift of 0.1µV/°C (microvolts/degree-C) that allow the amplification of sensor signals. This is the perfect match for applications that require highly precise signal amplification without compensating the signals as it enables the higher precision of current sensing and smaller resistance value for sensing current, thereby contributing to the reduction of an ECU’s power consumption. Typical applications are high-precision current sensors, highly precise sensor signal amplification, strain gauge amplifiers for pressure manometers, weight scales, etc. The S-19611 has a wide operating temperature range of -40 degree-C up to +105 degree-C and meets AEC-Q100 Grade 2. It has Rail-to-Rail input, a gain bandwidth of 320 kHz, an operating voltage range from 2.65V to 5.5V, and current consumption of 200µA per circuit. The package is TMSOP-8 and PPAP approval is available.

At the same time, SII adds the high-speed op-amp S-19610A to its product line of automotive AEC-Q100 qualified zero-drift dual op-amp. It features high-speed gain bandwidth product of 3.0MHz and wide operating temperature range that are best suited for automotive applications including current sensors, various sensor signal amplifiers, buffers, and active filters. The S-19610A series operates from -40 to 125 degree-C, meets AEC-Q100 Grade 1, and has an operating voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V and current consumption of 1mA. The package is TMSOP-8 and PPAP approval is available.

The S-19611A and S-19610A are both developed through the CMOS process.
