NAIROBI, Kenya--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frontier Services Group Limited (“FSG”) (SEHK:00500), a publicly listed, complete logistics solutions provider in frontier markets with its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of a Boeing 737-300 Quick Change (“QC”), further expanding its aviation fleet and adding heavy-lift cargo and passenger capabilities.
The Boeing 737-300 QC is a multi-mission, passenger and cargo variant of the Boeing 737, featuring a large cargo door on the forward left side of the aircraft for pallet loading. The 737-300 QC can be readied in less than one hour to handle either 38,000 pounds of cargo, or re-configured with pre-mounted palletized seating modules that accommodate more than 140 passengers.

With this new heavy lift capability, FSG continues to build on its already diverse and sizeable aviation fleet of light jets, turboprops, and medium-lift fixed wing cargo, as well as rotary wing aircraft. The 737-300 QC’s heavy-lift/large-volume passenger capabilities are perfectly suited to respond to the demands of core clients, including relief organizations, local government agencies, and prime contractors.
In addition to the flexibility of configuration for passengers or cargo, the 737-300 QC has an impressive range (represented in the graphic) and will be capable of serving virtually all of Africa and the Middle East from FSG’s base in Nairobi, Kenya and the company’s AOC in Malta.
