ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--3M Innovative Properties Co. and 3M Korea Ltd. filed a patent infringement lawsuit on May 4, 2015, in the Seoul Central District Court against LG Hausys Ltd.
The suit alleges that certain LG Hausys Ltd. optically clear adhesive products infringe 3M’s Korean Patent No. 1,162,463 titled "Cloud Point-Resistant Adhesives and Laminates."
3M’s high performance optically clear adhesives are integrated into electronics to form a brighter, thinner, more colorful and more energy efficient display for smartphones, tablets, notebook PCs, monitors, and LCD TVs.
