BEIJING--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In anticipation of “dramatic” growth in the Chinese analytical and laboratory equipment market, Bal Seal Engineering, Inc. announced this week that it will host an exhibit at the Beijing Conference and Exhibition on Instrumental Analysis (“BCEIA”), held November 25th-28th, 2009 at the Beijing Exhibition Center.
According to Joseph Mok, Managing Director of the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Bal Seal Asia Ltd., the upcoming BCEIA event represents an ideal opportunity to catch the region’s analytical industry on the upswing.
“There are strong economic indications that the demand for high-pressure liquid chromatography and other types of analytical equipment will increase dramatically this year,” said Mok, “so we expect that many OEMs will be looking for ways to make their equipment perform more reliably and efficiently. Using product samples, demonstration units and a series of photorealistic animation sequences, Mok said Bal Seal will show BCEIA attendees how his company’s seals and springs can increase equipment uptime and reduce maintenance costs. A central focus of the exhibit will be the Bal Seal™, a seal made from PTFE, UHMWPE and other specialty polymers, which employs unique Canted-coil™ spring technology to deliver longer service life.
The Bal Contact™, a precision-engineered spring element used to carry high and low current in mass spectrometry and other applications, will also be featured.
