Yu joins Merrill from CITIC Private Equity Fund Management Company (CITICPE), headquartered in Beijing, China. In her role as Vice President, Portfolio Management, Yu was based in Shanghai and responsible for overseeing business performance for a number of business-to-business portfolio companies. Alongside her core management accountability, Yu also had responsibility for building sales management capability across CITICPE companies, delivering strong year on year growth of up to 30 percent in revenue. Prior to her tenure with CITICPE, she was China Head of Sales and Account Management for DST Global Solutions. At DST she built their mainland China business and went on to successfully transform her sales and account management team to drive results in the areas of investment accounting and performance analysis.
