HONGKONG--(Business Wire)--Freetech Road Recycling Technology (Holdings) Limited (“Freetech”, or the “Group;” stock code: HK.6888), a leading and fast-growing asphalt pavement maintenance service provider, announced thatthe Group had successfully completedroad maintenance project of Binbao Expressway and Jinji Expressway totalling350,000m2 in Tianjin City, using its patented “Hot-in-Place” recycling technology.
Tianjin City isa direct-controlled municipality of the People's Republic of Chinaand an international port city, shipping center and logistics center, whileBinbao Expressway and Jinji Expresswayare the main roads connectingTianjin City with Beijing City and Hebei Province. During the project, only one lane of the expressways was occupiedat a time where the average daily traffic volume exceeds 50,000 vehicles. Despite frequent relocations and complicated road conditions,the Groupachieved a peak pace of 10,000m2 service area per set of equipment per day while the test indexes were well meeting the national regulatory requirements.
The project has significantly improved the road roughness, breakage and rutting indices with a shortened duration of maintenance, preparing both of the expressways for a national trunk highway maintenance management inspection to be started by China’s Ministry of Transportin September 2015.
