Company Opens New Office in Beijing

Enventure Global Technology, the worlds leading provider of SET® systems used for solid expandable solutions, announced today that its subsidiary, Enventure Global Technology Trading (Beijing) Co. Ltd., opened its first office in Beijing to support China’s demand for its innovative drilling and production technology.

Located in on the 12^th floor of Silver Tower No. 2 on Dong San Huan North Road in the Chao Yang District, the new office will house 12 personnel. KJ Tan, Enventure’s China country manager, will oversee the new office and staff to help drive further regional penetration of Enventure SET technology.

“The opening of this new office not only marks another company milestone, but also reinforces our commitment to bringing enabling technology solutions to China,” said Tan. “It is truly an exciting time in our company’s history as we continue to break new ground and industry records globally with solid expandable technology innovations in the oil and gas industry.”

As the pioneer in solid expandable technology, Enventure's first SET installation was in December of 2003 in the Shengli field oil well in Shandong Province near the city of Dongying. That installation enabled the operator to further penetrate the reservoir, re-complete the well and restart production. By the end of 2008, more than 250 installations were completed with applications ranging from sidetracking and shoe extensions to casing reinforcement.
