ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A delegation from the UAE Ministry of Interior visited Milipol Paris 2015, the worldwide exhibition of Internal State Security, at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center. Members of the delegation reviewed the latest technological public and industrial internal security products and services, including transmissions, communication and authentication; media; access control and surveillance systems, and information technology products.
H.E Dr. Obaid Al Ketbi, UAE Ambassador to Australia; Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of the International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2016), who accompanied the delegation, said that the visit comes within the ongoing preparations to organize the ISNR Abu Dhabi 2016 and to invite international companies to participate in the exhibition in its next edition scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi from 15 – 17 March 2016.
The delegation, headed by Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior, convened with the Chairman of the Milipol exhibitions; a representative from the French Ministry of Defense and an official from the United Kingdom on the sidelines of the exhibition. The parties discussed bilateral cooperation and training, exchanging experiences and the role of French and British companies in providing support to police work.
The delegation toured the exhibition's different pavilions, notably the pavilions of the participating Emirati companies, such as RayZone Group, Advanced Systems International, Armored Group, Nera-S and Stratign FZE; as well as pavilions of major French, Swiss and British companies, operating in the field of internal security systems.
The Milipol exhibition is the most important exhibition in the field of internal State security, bringing together decision-makers and security advisors from around the world to review the technological public and industrial security products and services in the field of internal security. This year’s edition features a notable increase in exhibitor numbers from 915 last year to 925 exhibitors this year.
