The sports and fitness technology market is a growing sector in the global consumer technology industry. According to CTA research, fitness activity tracker volumes will hit 17.4 million units in the U.S. in 2016 - a 12 percent increase from 2015 - with revenues reaching $1.3 billion USD.
Returning to Shanghai for its second year, CES Asia 2016 will span up to 32,000 gross square meters (16,000 net square meters) of show floor space and showcase top tech across the themes of connectivity, innovation and the Internet of Things (IoT).
