NEW YORK & LONDON & HONG KONG--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Merrill Corporation (www.merrillcorp.com), a global provider of secure content sharing, regulated communications and disclosure services, announced Dan Hostetter, a nineteen-year veteran of the company, has been promoted to Global Head of Strategic Advisor Accounts. In this position, Hostetter will lead Merrill’s efforts to expand and increase the company’s financial transaction and secure collaboration services across the most active law, investment banking and private equity firms serving today’s international capital markets industry.
Hostetter will be based in Boston, and will report to Todd Albright, Merrill’s worldwide Chief Revenue Officer. His appointment is effective immediately and follows his founding and successfully growing Merrill’s Asia Pacific region over the past seven years. Prior to that, he led business development for Merrill in both Paris and London.
“Dan has played a tremendously instrumental role in leading Merrill’s international expansion and service to our clients over nearly twenty years with the company,” said Albright. “With Dan’s promotion, we are formally enhancing Merrill’s focused support for the top banking, legal and fund firms serving private and public corporations today. Dan’s deep relationships and commitment to service make him the natural choice to lead this increased focus on our major global capital advisory and private equity clients.”
“After two decades building Merrill’s international business in Europe and Asia, I am excited to assume this new leadership role across our company’s most important international advisory clients,” offered Hostetter. “Merrill is making broad investments in our global solution platform, and I look forward to expanding this work across our leading advisory and private equity partners.”
