JEOLLANAM-DO, South Korea--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The eco-friendly design-themed exhibition is held in Naju city of Jeonnam, ‘Korean ecological agriculture capital’ for the first time.
The ministry of trade, industry and energy, and Jeonranamdo has revealed that 2016 world eco-friendly design exhibition (www.ecodex.or.kr) will be held from 5th to 29th May with a help of Jeonnam agricultural research and Bitgaram innovation city.
This exhibition will be planned to display eco-friendly industry and design of future through a theme of ‘search of life which can change the world’.
An exhibition is composed of 7 places where every content about eco-friendly design can be viewed at a sight. Each exhibition place shows that entire field of life that people enjoy, for example, agricultural, marine and livestock products, fashion, and architecture can be recreated and redesigned eco-friendly. Through exhibition, Jeonnam will shows new value and vision of Jeonnam as a mecca of eco-friendly industry by showing a fusion of 100 eco-friendly resources and 1000 designs.
In addition, along with symbolic sculpture of worldwide installation artist, Soo Chun Jeon, including ‘circulating wind’, and duplex open air performance, ‘Pulpet garden musican-heaven garden’ which is performed for the first time in the world, various cultural art events of original troupes including airshow, nanta, jump, and bebop, and spectacles for children are expected to make visitors of exhibition.
In addition, through an international academic event that Thomas Frey who was nominated as the best futurologist by Google in 2006 and various seminars, the points that audiences can review the value and meaning of eco-friendly design industry can be unusual pleasure of this exhibition.
A participant of exhibition committee has mentioned that “this exhibition will not only display plentiful cultural performance, various values, and global works, but also be an opportunity to promote mutual friendship through exchanges of cultural art of Korea and China”.
On 24th March, the committee has signed culture and art friendship promotion for an accompanied growth of the Korea-China Amity Association, Confucius academy associated to Honam University, and eco-friendly design industry. Based on an agreement, committee has promised connected mutual cooperation for a successful open and both countries’ development of culture and art industry.
