SHANGHAI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CBI China:
Date: March 23-26, 2010
Venue: Xiamen, China
The 11th China Oil Traders’ Conference, an annual convention and the “APPEC of China” is to be held in March 2010. COTC is reputed as a conference series with the largest scale, highest level and the most practical content. It has been successfully convened on an annual basis for the past ten years, involving 400 participants every year. So far, more than 6,000 decision makers of the oil industry from China and all over the world have attended COTC, where they have explored new opportunities in China as well as Asia-Pacific Region.
The global economy in 2009 experienced twist and turns, whereas China has been faring relatively well. The quick recovery of Chinese economy has revitalized the demand for oil. Chinese government has promulgated many new policies, like petroleum restructuring and revitalization plan, administrative measures for oil products pricing, the cancellation of geographical restriction of bonded bunker oil trade, lifting the bans of fuel oil processing trade, etc. What effects will these policies bring? How will the 2010 market go? Why could Chinese refineries generate decent profits, while their foreign counterparts were suffering from losses? What is the secret of the prosperity of Chinese refineries, private oil companies, wholesalers and gas stations?
On March 23, 2010, the 11th China Oil Traders’ Conference will be unveiled in Xiamen to answer all these questions.
The 11th COTC will be addressed by the most prominent figures from the oil industry, e.g. vice president from CNPC, vice general manager in charge of strategic planning from SINOPEC, director of Price Department of NDRC, department director of China’s State Administration of Taxation, senior expert from China’s Ministry of Finance, and executive director of Saudi Aramco. Of course, there will be more oil giants present with diversified background in crude oil, naphtha, oil products, fuel oil, etc. The 11th COTC will be a top-level gathering that offers industry elites with oil market updates both in China and worldwide. More importantly, this event will take the initiative to release market intelligence regarding the oil industry, and present unique perspectives about policies and price trend.
