WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Travelex, a leading provider of international payments and foreign exchange solutions, today announces two new additions to the global senior management team, following on from recent new executive hires in North America.

Travelex, ranked by the internationally recognized consulting firm TowerGroup as No. 3 globally for innovation in payments particularly in the SME market, has committed to an aggressive growth plan worldwide.

To support the growth strategy, David Sear, Divisional MD has made two key appointments:

Vanessa Murden has been appointed senior executive vice president for global operations and will have full responsibility for operations worldwide to ensure customer service excellence and delivery for all international and domestic payment solutions. Prior to this role, Ms. Murden served as the global product development director for Travelex’s Outsourcing business where she was instrumental in launching the pre paid card product.

In addition, Jayne Oates joined the global team as the human resources director. In this capacity, she will lead the human resources team while spearheading all company training initiatives and champion Travelex’s web-based tools for knowledge sharing, learning and performance management. Ms. Oates has previously worked with leading firms such as Wirecard Payment Solutions, WorldPay and Equifax.
