Hong Kong (29th December, 2016) – Looking for something brand new and different at The AIA Great European Carnival this year? How about joining the Carnival for the Carnival GTI Karaoke game or even the competition? The game is on now until end of January 2017. Hong Kong permanent residents are eligible to enter the Karaoke competition and the lucky winner will be awarded a Volkswagen GTI Driver’s Edition!
Whether comes in as a solo or a team of four, guests get to choose any pre-selected pop songs of all times either in Cantonese, Mandarin or English to sing for 30 seconds. Video will be recorded and sent to the registered players. All the players have to do is to share their videos and hashtag#CarnivalGTIKaraoke on social media. The 5 most entertaining videos selected by the Carnival’s panel of judges from Billboard Radio China, Volkswagen Hong Kong and The Great European Carnival, will be posted on the Carnival’s official facebook for public voting. Hong Kong people will vote for their winner.

ABOUT THE GREAT EUROPEAN CARNIVAL (TGEC)
The Great European Carnival Ltd (TGEC) is the producer of the annual Hong Kong event called The AIA Great European Carnival. The Great European Carnival takes place between December and February each year, on the Central Harbourfront Event Space. The event features amusement rides, carnival skill games, seasonal markets and performances on a community stage. This year the Carnival will run at the Central Harbourfront Event Space from 16th December.
