Hong Kong, China (July 17, 2017) - Billboard Radio China announced today the launch of a new weekly program, “Corsten’s Countdown”, hosted by Ferry Corsten, one of the world’s most influential EDM producers and DJs. The show will air weekly on Billboard Radio China EDM/ Club Channel on Friday night at 11pm and Saturday night at 11pm.

 

Ferry Corsten is the third international EDM producer to partner with Billboard Radio China, which stands as a pioneer in promoting electronic dance music in the Greater China region. Billboard Radio China has also co-produced shows in Hong Kong for artists such as DJ Juicy M and Pink Panda, and recently became the official media partner for Road To Ultra Hong Kong 2017.

Gregory Bowers, President of Billboard Radio China believes that “while dance music is prevalent across much of the world, the infrastructure to for fans to access and engage around dance music is still developing in China and so part of Billboard Radio China’s mission is to provide this access and engagement platform for Chinese fans, which will not just showcase Western music but also local talent as it emerges”.
