PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sonavation^TM, Inc., the designer of the biometrics industry’s thinnest and most durable fingerprint sensor, today announced it has set up its Asian distribution network and signed five leading worldwide electronics distributors to handle sales and support for its recently announced SonicSlide^TM STS3000 fingerprint sensor and for future product releases. The SonicSlide STS3000 is the first biometric fingerprint sensor to use solid-state ultrasound technology.

The international distributors under contract with Sonavation and their respective locations are as follows:

• Hongtech Electronics Co., Ltd., Taiwan;
• Internix, Incorporated, Japan;
• Lacewood International Co., China;
• NEL Group Ltd., Singapore;
• Multiwave Co., Ltd., Korea.

All five of the distributors have been selling and supporting electronics components for several decades in the Asian market and provide sales and technical consultation to major electronics vendors in the various countries.
