The sake cups (guinomi) and carafes (tokkuri) made by Japanese ceramic artist are very popular as a collector's item. It is the first time to have sake cups exhibition in overseas gallery to directly showing and selling these art pieces.
Fushikino as a Japanese restaurant is specializing in sake pairing. After getting Michelin one star in the past consecutive five years, it had created their unique way and know-how of sake service.
As an art gallery, Fushikino collects works mainly from famous modern ceramic artists all over Japan, and putting effort to spread the ceramic art culture among sake enthusiastic guests.
Not only exhibiting Japanese ceramic artists' sake cups, but the event also collaborate with local sake importers to offer free of charge sake tasting to guests in the gallery.
Moreover, events like sake pairing dinner with Chinese cuisine and seminar about the Fushikino unique way to enjoy Japanese sake will be held within the three days.
Fushikino is aiming to create a new sake culture in Hong Kong.
