Company’s Leadership Momentum Continues with Expanded Global Client Base and Product Innovation

VIENNA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Telarix, Inc., the leading provider of business information exchange and interconnect OSS/BSS solutions for content providers, IP service providers and global fixed and mobile operators, today announced that it achieved 170% year over year growth increase in new customer sales bookings and expanded its global client base by over 30% with strategic wins in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America and North America. The company also enhanced its product offerings, including an expansion of iXLink’s portfolio of services.

In 2009, Telarix saw strong growth across the company’s two business lines, iXLink® and iXTools®. iXLink, the global business information exchange service for the telecom community, experienced strong demand with the introduction of several new services. Price List Receipt with Dial Code Mapping enables carriers to simplify and automate their purchasing process and to take advantage of Telarix’s best in class dial code mapping functionality to instantly analyze all partner offers and eliminate the risks associated with dial code discrepancies. By providing detailed destination breakouts and associated cost savings analysis, carriers have the financial controls to effectively manage their business risks while protecting their overall margins. Telarix also introduced a next generation CLI monitoring service which provides mobile, fixed-lined and VoIP carriers the ability to accurately verify Calling Line Identification (CLI) for mobile and landline destinations worldwide. Delivering accurate CLI information to the terminating handset has a direct impact on a carrier’s bottom line as many mobile customers will not answer calls from unknown or blocked numbers.

Telarix’s iXTools solution set continued to experience increased global demand as carriers sought to an end-to end solution that provides a holistic view of their entire interconnection operation including partner management, routing optimization, trading and revenue assurance. Built on a traffic agnostic platform, iXTools is designed for next generation networks by allowing service providers to optimize, rate and bill for different types of traffic on their network such as traditional TDM voice traffic as well as content and VoIP. New development enhancements to iXTools in 2009 also increased CDR processing fivefold, providing carriers with real-time intelligence on their interconnect networks.

Growth was especially strong for Telarix’s revenue assurance module, iXBill® which allows service providers to eliminate revenue leakage by supporting interconnect agreements with other carriers, regardless of the level of complexity and the type of network. This level of sophistication ensures that all billable activities are accurately captured, rated and billed while enabling carriers to support a variety of agreement types and rating scenarios including the multi-party settlements and sophisticated revenue sharing partnerships common in today’s dynamic voice, data, and IP interconnect market.
