Global Semiconductor Alliance Announces GSA Memory Conference in Taiwan

TAIPEI, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) is pleased to announce the GSA Memory Conference taking place on March 16, 2010 at the Grand Formosa Regent in Taipei, Taiwan. This conference is co-organized by Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineering (CIEE) and it is the first industry event dedicated to link memory and semiconductor companies with logic IC and system companies. The Conference titled, “Bridging Memory and Logic ICs for a Better System Performance” will feature keynote addresses from Edward Doller, corporate vice president and chief technology officer, Numonyx, Dr. Subramanian Iyer, IBM chief technologist, Semiconductor Research and Development Center, IBM and Dr. Oh-Hyun Kwon, president of the Semiconductor Business, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.

“Bridging Memory and Logic ICs for a Better System Performance”

This event will host a full day of educational programming and insightful presentations from the following industry experts:

The forum will begin with welcome remarks from the GSA president, Jodi Shelton, Dr. Nicky Lu, who serves as GSA board chairman; chairman and chief executive officer of Etron Technology and Dr. Chih-Yuan Lu, chairman, IC Industry Committee, Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineering (CIEE) and president, Macronix International Co., Ltd.
