Movesa Maximizes Server-based Computing Investment with Expand Networks' Advanced WAN Optimization

Expand Networks' WAN Optimization technology is bridging the WAN proximity gap between Movesa's branch office employees and its centrally held data, by controlling bandwidth and traffic performance in the server based computing environment.

While communication applications are accessed through head office, Movesa's most critical sales application, SicomNet, is delivered via the MPLS network. However, within the server-based computing environment, bandwidth quickly became an issue for the company. The network became saturated and its key applications, like SicomNet, had to contend with increased latency and congestion, negatively impacting user experience and business productivity levels.
