China Tour and Mini Conferences to Feature Facilities Visits and Company Presentations from Approximately 100 China Companies
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ROTH Capital Partners (ROTH), www.roth.com, a full service investment bank recognized for providing financing and advisory services to emerging growth companies worldwide, today announced that it will hold its 5th Annual China Investor Tour in various cities in China April 6-16, 2010. In conjunction with the Tour, ROTH will also act as the exclusive North American Co-Organizer for the First Annual Halter Financial Summit to be held April 7-9, 2010 at the Pudong Shangri-la in Shanghai China.
“We have witnessed a strong revival in US-listed Chinese equities and ROTH is pleased to be a part of it,” says Mark Tobin, Director of Research at ROTH. “More importantly, we are encouraged by the growing interest among our institutional clients in investing in China. We believe China’s economic growth is poised to outpace that of the rest of the world for the foreseeable future and believe US-listed Chinese stocks present one of the most compelling ways to participate in this trend,” Tobin continues. During 2009, ROTH’s US-listed China Research Universe gained 132.2% compared to 23.5% for the S&P500, 43.9% for NASDAQ, 79.5% for the Shanghai composite, and 51.9% for the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index*.
“This event is designed to provide our clients a broad exposure to China’s growing economy and rich culture, enabling them to gain a deeper understanding of the fundamentals driving the growth of companies operating within China,” says Byron Roth, CEO of ROTH. “Over these ten days, we will travel over 5,000 miles within China and gain exposure to over 100 Chinese companies, most of which were hand-picked by ROTH’s China Research Team.”
The event will begin in Shanghai on Wednesday, April 7th at the Halter Financial Summit, with presentations from 75 Chinese companies to institutional investors from North America, Europe, and Asia. Themed “China in a Changing World”, the Summit is organized by the Halter Financial Group together with the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC). As part of the Summit, Byron Roth will participate in an expert panel on April 9th entitled Opportunities for Raising Money in Global Capital Markets.
