BANGKOK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The South East Asia’s largest gift and houseware trade fair, “Bangkok International Gift Fair 2010 and Bangkok International Houseware Fair 2010 (BIG+BIH) is scheduled to open to foreign buyers on 20-23 April 2010 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC).

BIG+BIH has been organized by The Lifestyle Products Federation of Thailand and the Department of Export Promotions, Ministry of Commerce twice a year since 2001 in the months of April and October.

The foreign buyers will be amazed with the outstanding lifestyle products and designs which are not just Thai or national styles but “Oriental Chic, Modern design”, and with materials and process according to international standards of safety and quality,” said Mr. Supat Sriwannavit, President of The Lifestyle Products Federation of Thailand.

The lifestyle products to be highlighted at BIG+BIH April 2010, in 1,600 exhibition stands within a 32,500 square meter BITEC exhibition hall, include gifts, premiums, home decorative, artificial flowers and plants, handicrafts, household items, spa products, home textiles, toys, stationery, and other design objects.

BITEC, the new venue for the event, is a high tech, ultra modern convention facility that is much closer to the city center than the previous venue site. BITEC is both close to Suvarnabhumi International Airport, taking only 15-20 minutes by car, and extremely convenient to downtown Bangkok.
