Korea Telecom Selects ADTRAN for Carrier Ethernet Services

ADTRAN Solution Enables High-Bandwidth Services for SME Customers

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--KT Corporation, the leading telecommunications service provider in Korea and one of the largest and most advanced in Asia, today announced that it has selected ADTRAN®'s (NASDAQ: ADTN)Total Access® 5000 Multiservice Access and Aggregation Platform and NetVanta® 800 series of network termination units to support KT's X4BIZ PLUS Carrier Ethernet service to small and medium enterprises. This solution will allow KT to immediately deliver guaranteed, high-bandwidth business connections using the service velocity and ubiquity of Ethernet over bonded circuits (EoCu, EoTDM) with the ability to concurrently support the scalability and reach of optical Ethernet (EoF) for future Gigabit Ethernet services.
