The expansion of the team is part of a broader firm-wide strategy to better address the needs of both domestic and international investors seeking exposure to U.S. real estate opportunities. Last year, CHC added Investor Coverage team members in New York and on the West Coast to expand its operations.
“Crow Holdings Capital’s growing Investor Coverage team will enhance our ability to meet the needs of international investors. We are excited to welcome David to the company,” said Bob McClain, CEO of CHC.
“As part of the broader Crow Holdings platform, Crow Holdings Capital is well-positioned to take advantage of significant tailwind opportunities in U.S. multifamily and industrial real estate in particular, given its long investment and development history and its broad market presence. I am looking forward to helping meet the needs of investors throughout Asia,” said Lee.
Crow Holdings also recently launched a new investment management platform focused on build-to-core programs, part of the firm’s broader strategy to expand opportunities for global investors. In partnership with Crow Holdings’ development companies in the U.S. multifamily and industrial property sectors, the new platform offers access that is generally unavailable to scaled institutional investors. Through hands-on, local development expertise, the platform will seek long-term income and capital appreciation for investors.
“We are expanding CHC’s Investor Coverage team to further enhance the ability to meet the needs of a growing domestic and international institutional client base, both for the new build-to-core platform as well as CHC’s longstanding investment strategies,” said Michael Levy, CEO of Crow Holdings.
Prior to joining CHC, Lee was Director of Investments with Civitas Capital Group and a member of the firm’s investment committee, and Director at CIT Bank, North America. He received a B.A. degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin and is a CFA charter holder.
