SYDNEY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Expand Networks www.expand.com, the leader in optimizing WANs for branch office consolidation and virtualization, today announced that Baiada Poultry Pty Limited, a leading Australian provider of poultry products, is using Expand Networks WAN optimization technology to effectively prioritize traffic over the WAN, resulting in substantial improvements in company processes.

Baiada initially implemented Expand’s Accelerators to overcome network performance challenges created by sending large numbers of invoices to remote printers each night. By prioritizing and accelerating traffic over the WAN, Baiada has significantly reduced the time it takes to print several hundred invoices. With these invoices being sent out with each delivery truck, efficiency in the printing process has greatly assisted Baiada in getting deliveries out on time.

Since implementing Expand, Baiada has achieved 50% increase in network capacity, a 90% increase in speed and performance of network operations and has also improved network response time by 75%. Furthermore, in support of rapid company growth, Baiada has recently purchased additional Expand Accelerators, following the acquisition of Bartter Steggles.
