Next Door Neighbor Describes Life in Exclusive Celeb Enclave, the Car Wreck and Unusual Actions at the Scene
ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--What’s it like living next to Tiger Woods? What really happened the night the world’s most famous golfer crashed into his neighbor’s tree?
Jerome “Jay” Adams, Jr., son of a prominent African-American physician, answers those questions in two “tell-all” videos offered via pay-to-view format at www.BehindTheGates.com. Adams, 33, is listed in the accident report as being on-scene. He’s been silent until now.
Following Woods’ Thanksgiving night crash in Isleworth, a guarded community near Orlando, Fla., an attorney purporting to represent the Adams family told reporters the family knew nothing about Woods’ accident in their front yard. Jay Adams says the lawyer never represented him, which the lawyer confirms. Adams has decided to tell his eyewitness story now.
“I want to set the record straight and tell how Tiger treated his next door neighbors over the years,” Adams said.
“I believe I’m doing this for the right reasons, personal to me,” Adams continued. “It’s for my family (he has a wife, a daughter and a child on the way), and for my parents (his dad suffers from dementia).” A portion of proceeds from every download will go to organizations providing care to people with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
The first segment on www.BehindTheGates.com, is a frank narrative about Adams’ experiences growing up in celebrity-studded Isleworth. Adams also talks about his family’s excitement when Woods arrived, but how their impression of the golfer soured because of what Adams describes as a series of “insulting, even racially degrading” acts involving Woods toward the family, and one incident of spousal abuse Adams says he witnessed.
A free preview of the first video is on www.BehindTheGates.com. The full video is available via pay-to-view on that site.
The second video, planned to air on www.BehindTheGates.com soon after the first, is an explosive account of the accident scene. Adams witnessed shouting between Tiger and Elin below Adams’ bedroom window, was on the scene to see Woods prone on the Adams’ front yard, and witnessed unusual actions prior to and after police arrived on the scene.
