HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dresser^®, a global leader in the design and manufacture of highly engineered natural gas measurement and pressure control products, has expanded its relationship with Tancy Instrument Group Co., Ltd, of Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, China for distribution of Dresser’s metering and regulator products in China.

“Tancy has been our China distributor for metering products for nearly a decade,” said John Parrish, senior vice president of sales for Dresser. “We have had a very successful relationship with them, and when we strengthened our product offering, we felt that Tancy offered us the best opportunity to represent the – Dresser Series C Rotary Meter – to the China natural gas distribution market.”

Under the new agreement, Tancy will also distribute Dresser’s Mooney^® regulator products, Parrish said. Regulators, along with meters, are key components of the “skids” that Tancy packages for the stations that meter and regulate the flow of natural gas in pipeline distribution systems. By adding Dresser’s Mooney regulators to the Tancy product offering, “Together we can create a more complete customer solution for the China market,” Parrish said.
